José Ramón Manguart Sánchez is confident that in the coming months they will reach an increase in employment since on weekends they reach 60%

Mazatlan, Sin.- Foreign tourism in Mazatlan for hotel occupancy so far is low so far this year, although in the last few weekends it reaches just 60 percent, said José Ramón Manguart Sánchez.

The president of the Association of Hotels and Motels Tres Islas said that the week-long occupancy remains at levels between 25 and 40 percent, but confident that in the coming months when the Mazatlan Carnival and Easter week arrives, the sector will have a considerable rise.

“Weekends it raises between fifty and sixty percent, we must remember that we are not in vacation season, when the international campaigns starts that is when we expected that we will have greater results, we have seen a slow growth”, he explained.

Manguart Sánchez confided that in this market the levels of occupation can be contracted, since large hotels are still being built, and that is good for Mazatlan.

Before the increase of room quarters was 10 percent, said that has not had complaints and disagreements by the tourist, and that offers a good service that meets their needs and expectations.
