Sinaloa will have an “icy ring” due to low temperatures in neighboring states

The National Meteorological Service predicts a very cold to cold environment in much of the Mexican Republic , and although it does not announce much cold for Sinaloa if it warns that the state will be surrounded by an icy belt, as temperatures are projected up to five degrees below zero in sierras of Baja California, Sonora, Chihuahua, and Durango.

Minimum temperatures below zero degrees are also forecast in Zacatecas and San Luis Potosí, as well as in mountain ranges of Coahuila, Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, Hidalgo, State of Mexico, Tlaxcala, Puebla and Veracruz. It is estimated that the thermometer will drop between 0 and 5 degrees in the mountains of Aguascalientes, Guanajuato, Querétaro and Oaxaca.

Due to this frigid environment, morning frosts could be registered in the north, the northeast and the center of the territory, and fog or fog banks in areas of the east and southeast of the country.

Similarly, a North event is forecast with gusts of wind greater than 70 kilometers per hour and waves of 1 to 3 meters in the south of the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, and gusts of wind greater than 120 kilometers per hour in the Isthmus of Tehuantepec. , in addition to waves of 3 to 5 meters in the Gulf of Tehuantepec.

As for rainfall, the National Meteorological Service forecasts very strong storms in Chiapas; strong storms in Oaxaca and Tabasco; rains with intervals of showers in Veracruz and Quintana Roo, and isolated rains in Michoacán, Puebla, Guerrero, Campeche and Yucatán.

Finally it informs that the Cold Front Number 29 will travel through the Yucatan Peninsula and will go into the Caribbean Sea, while the associated Arctic air mass will originate the meteorological conditions mentioned.
