The urgent need to specify actions that trigger the port activity of the municipality was a coincidence that businessmen arrived, operators of the port terminal, representatives of the Integral Port Administration, directors of the Economic Development Councils of both states and authorities of the three levels of government, of Sinaloa and Durango, this Thursday during a meeting at the Convention Center.
They assured that this situation will have a direct impact on the commercial and industrial activity; They reiterated the need to achieve short-term actions that promote the port’s subsistence, to later think of a new project, such as the Mega Port.
For his part, the municipal president added that the issue of the Mazatlan-Durango Railroad is of vital importance and has generated great interest in entrepreneurs and Durango authorities, with whom they have already had an approach to make alliances and push the project at the federal level.
