Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- The garbage collection service for the neighborhoods, subdivisions, in itself, for the entire population of Mazatlan to date has been deficient, acknowledged Jesus Osuna Lamarque.

The general secretary of the Union of Workers in the Service of the Municipality of Mazatlan explained that the current government found an incomplete fleet of trucks, about 10 units were broken down and in poor condition.

“I think there are only five more left to repair for the vehicle fleet to be completed, and I think that in January, or in mid-January, it will be resolved or 100 percent met in the garbage collection service.”

“… right now it is deficient, but it is working in the afternoon, at night,” he said.

The union leader said that in order to provide a quality service, without delay and almost 100 percent, it is necessary to have at least 40 garbage trucks.

“Right now, there are 34 trucks, and between 40 and 42 garbage trucks are required to provide 100 percent quality service to the citizens, to the colonies,” he said.

Finally, Osuna Lamarque said that there is a great availability of the commune to acquire new units for the month of January and February of the following year, 2019.
