Fireworks and a great concert by the Camerata de Mazatlán was the ideal setting to celebrate the 24th edition of Fiesta Amigos in the port of Mazatlán.
The celebration is already a tradition on this beach, where they reward the work done during the year by all suppliers, especially from North America, United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Julio Birrueta, director of the Office of Promotion of Mazatlan, shared that expectations are always high because that is where most of the contracts with suppliers for the sale of the destination in the country and abroad are signed.
He explained that the infrastructure projects that were about to end after the 2018 Tourist Tianguis will be shown in Mazatlan, such as the boardwalk that was partially opened, to which, he said, “they were made beautification works and now again, they visit the port the same people who came to the Tianguis, so they will see it concluded with all the pavement. “
He mentioned that for the moment there is access to the transit of the bicycles, given that it is sought to be completed in a record time. He explained that it will be an area without parking, but that it will be on the parallel street and only one block down from the Malecón.
“Mazatlán continues with these works so they can be shown to tourists every year.”
After listening to the complete program of the Camerata de Mazatlán called Pasión por la Música Notes de Luz, where the Symphony no. 5 of Beethoven, first movement, the Bohemian Rhapsody of Queen or Carmina Burana, among others, the fireworks gave life and joy to the visitors, but also to the locals since the ceremony was held in the Plaza de las Dos Culturas.
Later, Golden Deer awards were given by the Secretary of Tourism of Sinaloa, Óscar Pérez and Carlos Berdegué, president of the Association of Hotels and Tourism Companies of Mazatlan, as well as hoteliers in the area, to Sports Marketing Sports, West Jet Canada, among others.
