Truck driver from Mazatlán suffers tragic death in Durango while traveling on the Superhighway

A 57-year-old man died after a serious rollover accident on the Durango-Mazatlán highway, near kilometer 127, close to the area known as Las Gorditas Chavarría and El Mirador.

According to authorities, around 11:51 a.m., a notification was received from the C4 emergency center in El Salto, Pueblo Nuevo, reporting that a man with multiple injuries from a road accident was at the IMSS Bienestar Clinic No. 2.

Investigators and the Public Prosecutor arrived at the scene and confirmed that the victim was undergoing surgery due to the severity of his injuries.

Who is the person who died in the rollover accident on the highway?

The injured man was identified as Raúl Tirado Ramos, 57 years old, a resident of Mazatlán, Sinaloa, and an employee of Transportes Refrigerados Lizárraga.

Initially, it was reported that the man was in critical condition; however, his death was later confirmed as a result of the injuries he sustained in the rollover.

According to reports from the C4 emergency center in Pueblo Nuevo, the driver was transported to the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) hospital in El Salto.

Authorities, accompanied by the Public Prosecutor, confirmed that the deceased was in the operating room of the aforementioned medical center, where he sadly passed away despite the efforts of the medical staff.

Authorities are conducting the corresponding investigations to determine the circumstances of the accident.

The death was reported to the Public Prosecutor, who ordered the legal procedures and the transfer of the body for the corresponding autopsy.
