Mazatlán will have a direct flight to Guadalajara from Volaris

The route will begin operating from March 29th.

Mazatlán, Sinaloa._ Starting March 29 , 2026 , Volaris will begin operating the Mazatlán-Guadalajara route with flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

Although operations are still almost two months away, tickets are already on sale. The opening ticket price is 548 pesos plus a 772-peso Airport Use Fee (TUA).

The flight departing from Guadalajara’s Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla International Airport will take approximately one hour to reach Rafael Buelna Airport in Mazatlán.

The Secretary of Tourism of Sinaloa , Mireya Sosa Osuna , pointed out that with this new route, Mazatlán will have connectivity with the three main cities of the 2026 World Cup: Mexico City, Monterrey and Guadalajara.

“It is a very popular route, and we have been working on it all year. It has been a very requested route, since there is significant demand. Many people from Sinaloa travel to Guadalajara frequently for business, industrial, economic, university, and health reasons, and of course, this directly benefits tourism in the port, which is why it is very important for Mazatlán and for all of Sinaloa,” he pointed out.

In this way , Volaris, an airline that operates in Mexico, the United States, Central and South America, strengthens its expansion strategy and national connectivity by uniting two of the main economic and tourist centers in the west of the country.

Guadalajara is one of Volaris’ most important hubs . From this base, the airline operates the largest number of international destinations in the country, primarily to the United States, as well as Costa Rica and Canada.
