The incident occurred yesterday afternoon in the parking lot of a Walmart store in Mazatlán, Sinaloa.
At the scene, an armed group intercepted two men and deprived them of their liberty, sparking a shootout and causing panic among those present.
Agents from the Sinaloa Prosecutor’s Office and the Mexican Army arrived at the scene to conduct the necessary forensic examinations.
Several spent shell casings were found at the scene, as well as the sandal of one of the victims.
No one was injured during the shooting, and a search for the victims has begun. So far, no one has been located.
