After months of difficult times due to insecurity in Sinaloa, restaurateurs and tour operators in Mazatlán invited Mexicans to enjoy this beach destination during the upcoming Easter holidays.
At a press conference, renowned chef Andrea Lizárraga of Nao Kitchen stated that anyone who visits “The Pearl of the Pacific” falls in love with its cuisine, which stands out for its freshness and flavor, combining ingredients from the sea and land, such as ceviche, aguachile, and shrimp tacos.
She also recommended visiting the National Whale Museum, the Great Sea of Cortez Aquarium, as well as the modern soccer and baseball stadiums, where there is a great family atmosphere, among other attractions.
AUDIO “Well, we’re not just about rich cuisine, vibrant beaches, and incredible weather […] Today, more than just telling you about our state, we want you to experience it, taste it, and experience it, because it’s not just about seeing it, it’s about feeling it,” she told the press.
According to the state Tourism Secretariat, the port of Mazatlán welcomed 11,895 cruise passengers this Wednesday, resulting in an estimated economic impact of 19 million pesos for the city.
