Another young woman disappears in Mazatlán; a march is called to demand her location

Family and friends of the young professional, Merarit Adriana Peña López, reported missing since the night of December 15 when she went out to dinner in the Sábalo Country subdivision, in the city of Mazatlán, called for a march this Saturday to demand her location.

The call for the rally focused on the area known as the tourist stop of letters in the port, near Avenida del Mar, to ask that the search for this young woman and other victims of disappearances in the same sector be accelerated.

According to the file issued by the State Commission for the Search for Persons, Merarit Adriana, 29 years old, with a height of one meter 68 centimeters, thin build, oval face and light brown eyes, was last seen at nine o’clock at night, on December 15 in the Sábalo Country subdivision.

The young woman, who completed her university degree in Business Administration, works in one of the hotels in Mazatlán and that night she told her parents that she was going out to dinner with a friend, so she left in her vehicle, which has not been located.

Her family is worried, since the day before, another young woman named Teresita de Jesús Gutiérrez, 23 years old, disappeared in a strange way in that same neighborhood, and days before that a young man.
