Navy and police free kidnapped man in Mazatlan and arrest 4 suspects

A surveillance operation carried out in Mazatlán resulted in the release of a person who was deprived of his freedom.

In addition, during the same action, four alleged kidnappers were arrested.

The operation took place when Marines participating in the “Sinaloa Seguro” operation were conducting ground surveillance patrols in the city.

These types of patrols are part of the security strategies implemented in the face of the growing wave of violence that is ravaging southern Sinaloa.

During the patrols, the authorities located a person who was being held illegally, in a place not yet specified.

Upon rescuing the victim, the military and police also captured four individuals who were supposedly holding the person captive.

The detainees were transferred to the corresponding facilities, where their rights were read to them, and then placed at the disposition of the ministerial authorities.

The four men will be investigated for their probable participation in the crime of kidnapping.

The release and capture were carried out without further incident, and now the competent authorities will continue with the judicial process to determine the legal situation of those involved.
