A woman identified as Rosa Guadalupe “R”, 58 years old, was declared dead after being urgently transported to a private hospital on Rafael Buelna Avenue, following a tragic accident in the pool of a hotel located on Camarón-Sábalo Avenue.
According to initial reports, Rosa Guadalupe was enjoying the pool with some friends when she was unexpectedly seen drowning. Her companions managed to pull her out of the water while she was still showing signs of life and immediately called for paramedics, who arrived in a private ambulance. However, upon arrival at the hospital, the woman no longer showed vital signs.
The hospital’s nursing supervisor was responsible for notifying the authorities about the arrival of the ambulance with a deceased person, who had been accompanied by her friends. They confirmed that the death occurred as a result of drowning in the hotel pool.
Forensic and investigative elements from the Regional Vice Prosecutor’s Office for the Southern Zone arrived at the hospital to process the body and gather testimonies from those present. Subsequently, the body was authorized to be transferred to the Forensic Medical Service, where a legal autopsy will be performed before being handed over to her family.
