Next Monday, April 8, people will witness a majestic Total Solar Eclipse, and Mazatlán has been considered by NASA as the best place in the world to witness it.

These are the streets that will close in Mazatlán for the astronomical event The place, also called the pearl of the Pacific, will be one of the most visited stages to witness the Eclipse, so the city will offer multiple events to perform the sighting from special zones for tourism, to cultural events and specific places for the scientific dissemination community and certified astrophotographers.

All events will generate changes in the roads during April 8 from six in the morning until after midday.

The main road that will remain closed during this period will be the Coastal Walk, from Rafael Buelna Avenue to the Faro Mazatlán Natural Park. Affecting roads such as Paseo del Mar, Paseo Claussen, Olas Altas, and Paseo del Centenario, as announced by the statement issued by the Municipal Government of Mazatlán.

Likewise, “El Faro,” an emblematic place of the city, announced that the boardwalk will remain closed during the Eclipse, as it made public through its social networks the closure from its surroundings to Valentinos starting at 4 in the morning, since there will be 8 observation points for the astronomical event.
