Some of the ‘kidnapped’ families in Culiacán are released safe

Culiacán, Sinaloa.- They report the release of some families who were deprived of their liberty by armed groups, this Friday, March 22, among them the inhabitants of the community of La Noria, municipality of Imala, Sinaloa.

According to the information released, minutes before 4 in the morning this Saturday, 911 reported the release of some civilians who were kidnapped during the early morning hours of this Friday, in a store 8 that is located on Benjamín Hill Boulevard in the Barrancos sector of Culiacan.

Municipal and state police on duty moved to to aforementioned address, locating three adults and five minors, who reported that they were from La Noria and that they were waiting for a family member to pick them up, while other victims left the place for their own.

It should be noted that the number of family members who were released is unknown, so it is expected that in the next few hours the state authorities will announce the exact number of people who were released after being “kidnapped” for several hours.
