We love to give you recommendations and if they are cultural better. we bring you a little bit of Carnaval Mazatlán 2024, as well as some options of what to do on the weekend.
We start with something good, today at 6:00 p.m., on the esplanade of the Plazuela República, the second and last count for the election of the King of Joy and Child Queen of the Mazatlán International Carnival 2024 Baroque Eclipse will take place.
Which one is your favorite?
The girls competing for the child crown are: María Paula Velarde García, representative of the yellow cheerleader and Givanna Miranda, candidate of the purple cheerleader. They will go in search of the title of King of Joy: Víctor Reyes (green cheerleader); Héctor Limón (red cheerleader); Germán Orozco (orange cheerleader) and Benjamín López (yellow).
Carnival Queen Election
We continue with the programming of the Carnaval Mazatlán; the election of the Carnival Queen will take place on Saturday, January 20 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ángela Peralta Theater. That night we will see the 10 candidates parade and give their best: Jasa, Aspasia, Irene, Georgina, Rubí, Samantha, Andrea, Catalina, Carolina and Siu.
You can watch the election through Cultura TV or, normally, they place some screens in Plazuela Machado so that tourists and locals can watch the contest and support their favorite.
López Saénz Exhibition
The art agenda is back and on this occasion we will recommend you to stop by the exhibition Forever Antonio López Sáenz that is located in the gallery of the Ángela Peralta Theater.
Most of the paintings on display show memories trapped in memory; personal experiences, as well as a look that evokes the past of Mazatlán, represented by men and women of voluminous bodies and small heads absent of factions.
Plazuela Machado
Taking advantage of the fever of the Carnaval Mazatlán, going to the Plazuela Machado on the weekend is a very good option, especially since there will surely be live music and the atmosphere in the place will be something similar to what will be experienced in the next days. In the place you can take the opportunity to visit a restaurant and have a good time.
