Roberies to two self-service stores south of Mazatlán 

Mazatlan. In less than half an hour, two individuals armed with pistols robbed two self-service stores located south of Mazatlán. 

According to the reports obtained, the first event occurred at 5:34 p.m. on Monday in the establishment located on the edge of the Mexico 15 international highway, in the town of Aguacaliente de Gárate. 

One of the thieves wore blue pants and a gray shirt. He was wearing a black mask. His accomplice wore black sports shorts and a mamey-colored shirt. He was wearing a blue cap with a print on the front. 

In the robbery they obtained a booty of 1,756 pesos in cash and cigarette packs. The pair of thieves left the store and boarded a motorcycle, in which they fled. 

Minutes later, at 5:51 p.m., employees of another store of the same commercial chain reported that they had been assaulted by two individuals carrying guns. 

This time it was at the branch located on Francisco I. Madero Avenue, El Troncal neighborhood, in the Villa Unión union. 

When reviewing the video surveillance cameras, they discovered that they were the same subjects who had violently robbed a store in the town of Aguacaliente de Gárate minutes before. 

In the second robbery they obtained almost 3 thousand pesos in cash. They used the same mudus operandi to escape, boarded the motorcycle and got lost in the streets of the town. 

Municipal police were alerted to both cases, but they have not been able to arrest this pair of assailants.
