Mexican authorities seize drugs, weapons and tactical equipment in Sinaloa

The SSP announced that through an anonymous call to the emergency lines, it was reported that in the community of Benito Juárez, in the municipality of Navolato, unknown persons were lowering firearms from vehicles to a house.

NAVOLATO, SINALOA, MEXICO.- In an action carried out in Navolato, joint operations were carried out with the presence of the Army, the National Guard, and the state police. During this operation, a total of 16 automatic rifles, cartridges, counterfeit military-like uniforms, vests, helmets, and a variety of drugs were seized. All of this was found inside three vans.

The State Secretary of Public Security announced that through an anonymous call to the emergency lines, it was notified that in the community of Benito Juárez, in the municipality of Navolato, unknown persons lowered firearms from vehicles to a house.

Upon arriving at the indicated place, the federal, state, and municipal forces realized that several people, noticing their presence, got into a Pick-UP type truck, without license plates, and fled the place.

The state agency explained that when verifying the area, they found 2 trucks, a RAM, with no report of theft, and another type of Nissan brand, the latter with a report of theft, which were parked in a building with various objects.
