Mazatlán continues to grow, this Tuesday the HYDE hotel chain made its appearance in Mazatlán by placing the first stone of what promises to be the highest and largest tourist complex in the entire port.

Rubén Rocha Moya, Governor of Sinaloa, unveiled the plaque and laid the first stone. The highest authority of Sinaloa thanked the investors for putting their eyes on Mazatlán and Sinaloa since more and more hotel rooms are needed in the tourist jewel of the entity.

“This is a very important local investment of more than one billion pesos and we are happy about that, that Mazatlán continues to build hotel rooms because they are already very scarce on weekends,” said Rocha Moya.

He recalled that so far in his government there are just over a billion dollars that have been invested in the state by foreigners, which represents an amount greater than the 50 percent that had been raised in the state development plan of his six-year term

In addition, Daniel Cárdenas Ceballos, director of the ERA Tourism Promoter, explained that the central point of this site is entertainment for guests or better known as: “Life Style” because Hyde Mazatlán will have recognized brands of restaurants, bars, beach club, Sky-bar and more.

This project has been crystallizing for just over 3 years, so Cárdenas Ceballos pointed to the Stratopoulos family, other investors and Bancomex who have made this project that will last 3 years in construction possible.

Hyde Mazatlán will have 30 floors, 27 condominiums, 231 rooms, a breakwater, beach club, spa, cafeteria, 3-meal restaurant and another specialty restaurant.

It is expected that it will also have a saltwater pool as well as make use of the breakwater to allow the arrival of aquatic units.
