MAZATLÁN.- Seeking to generate more areas of opportunity for entrepreneurs in the city, the first edition of the Entrepreneurial Bazaar was presented with the presence of 61 participating exhibitors. The event will take place this coming Saturday, June 24, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., in the Malay events room, located in the Zona Dorada and with completely free admission.

Wendy Hernández, director of the Emprendamos Juntos business incubator, stated that with this work activity the idea is to be able to support young people so that they continue to strengthen their businesses in the city.

“In total there will be 61 stands of local entrepreneurs who will participate with diverse twists, ranging from accessories, snacks, food and shaved ice, coffee, clothing and handicrafts,” she mentioned.

She said that with this project initiative, more than 590 direct jobs have been generated, in addition to an investment of just over two million pesos.

A ‘plus’ that this Entrepreneurial Bazaar will have is the participation of 10 children from the Emprende Kids program, between the ages of 7 and 12, who carry out their first activities in the world of entrepreneurship.

Meanwhile, the president of COPARMEX Mazatlán, Fernando Valdez, commented that the event has a special ingredient since it will be 100 percent familiar and is a way to promote formality and support the local economy.

The leader explained that these activities serve too much to promote the growth of young entrepreneurs, with the ideology that they continue in all their projects and thus establish themselves in the local economy.

The invitation is for all public to attend and support all the people who are part of their product sales and also to learn about the entire entrepreneurship offer.
