At the pier, boatmen report a 40% increase in the demand for transfers to that community that has quiet beaches and a great gastronomic offer

Mazatlan, Sin. – Since last Friday, trips to Isla de la Piedra increased, with which the beaches of that ejidal community remain one of the most visited by Mazatlecos and tourists.

At the pier next to the Naval Sector, the boatmen said that, at the end of the classes, a decrease in the mobility of the inhabitants towards this city was expected, however, from that day on the visit of the Mazatlecos themselves increased, but also of the tourists who come to one of the quietest beaches and where there is also a great gastronomic offer.

This was explained by Cecilia, who from the box office said that, for Thursday and Friday, an even greater flow is expected, so it will be the “end”.

“Since Friday it has increased, from a normal Friday, 20 or 30%; already for today, for a normal Monday, it is 40% more, mostly national tourists. The cost is $40 pesos round trip per person. Children pay from 5 years of age. The service is 24 hours. Holy Thursday and Friday is the end”.

Juan Ramón López and Leonardo Sandoval, for their part, mentioned that there are 14 boats at this pier that provide the transfer service through the navigation channel, with departures every 15 minutes, on a normal day.

However, in times of high tourist influx, the departures are every 3 minutes because the number of tourists demands it, so the boats take a greater number of trips through the navigation channel.
