Mazatlán, Sin.- The port movement by sea through the port of Mazatlán increases significantly, since in the first quarter of this 2023 it grew 20 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.

He added that to this is added the arrival of cargo and supplies such as steel, which has already exceeded the same amount of the first quarter of 2022, also increasing the labor supply, from 500 to 600 direct jobs.

“A ship will arrive with 20,000 tons of steel, among all these, a ship will arrive with 5,100 cars at the same time, it is the largest there is and has arrived in Mazatlan. We must take care that here we have increased significantly, cruise ships, imported cars, cargo, ferries that are increasing a lot, every day they carry more people and more cargo, ”he said.

The director of Asipona pointed out that in addition to the economic resource that was put into the recently inaugurated Delfín avenue, north of Mazatlán, they will give continuity to Emilio Barragán avenue, with a part of the avenue and lighting.
