Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- This Tuesday the report was received on the formation of a huge sinkhole on the Mazatlán boardwalk, right in front of the “Cueva del Diablo”.

The report was given this Tuesday morning, after elements of the Tourist Police will carry out a routine tour and they will notice the existence of said sinkhole.

The Civil Protection coordinator, Eloy Ruiz Gastélum, explained exclusively to Reacción Informativa that the dimensions are “considerable, delicate (…), 9 meters in length and a depth of between 8 and 10 meters,” he explained.

Likewise, it was announced that one of the luminaires would have to be removed due to the danger that it could run when it fell on top of a passerby.

Public Works workers gathered at the site to begin work on the repair of this sinkhole.
