Governor Rubén Rocha Moya will take advantage of AMLO’s visit to Sinaloa to propose some security strategies in the entity.

Sinaloa.-  A few days after the end of the first year of administration, the governor of the state Rubén Rocha Moya, acknowledged that in Mazatlán, Sinaloa’s main tourist destination, there has been an uptick in intentional homicides, where murders have been involved. that have to do with tourists.

The state president commented that due to the above, he will take advantage of the visit of the President of the Republic Andrés Manuel López Obrador to Sinaloa this weekend, to review and propose some security strategies.

“Tomorrow I am going to talk to the president because there we have to see a care strategy, Mazatlán is the municipality where the issue of intentional homicide has risen the most, not to the degree of another year, but yes. Where we had more was in Culiacán, now we have to take care, ” he said.

It should be remembered that just this October 23, 2 tourists were killed in broad daylight on the Mazatlán boardwalk .
