Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Tenants of the municipal market, José María Pino Suárez, trust that the governor of Sinaloa, Rubén Rocha Moya, will support them to give continuity and finish the remodeling project of the supply center next year.

The secretary of the board of directors of the Union of Tenants, Alejandro Ontiveros Arámburo, explained that the third stage of the project remains, which includes the secondary corridors, the installation of the ceramic floor, the drainage, electrical wiring, changing the sheets, signagelighting. artistic, among other aspects.

“We are waiting for the remodeling project, which we are already in talks with the governor, who is fully available for this market rehabilitation stage to be carried out,” he said.

Ontiveros Arámburo trusted that next year the resources will be lowered to continue with what is missing, such as the electrical wiring.

He mentioned that it is a fact that the rehabilitation process is resumed, which has been interrupted for almost three years, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“We have to continue insisting, but the state authorities are willing to continue with this rehabilitation, it is a question of the resource arriving so that it can be applied,” he said.

In the first stage of remodeling, which began in 2017, the restaurant area and stairs were rehabilitated, where an investment of 4 million pesos was made.

While in the second stage, 9.7 million pesos were invested in electrical interconnections, change of drainage in butcher shops and poultry shops; as well as ceramic floors and rain gutter.
