Sinaloa.- This weekend more than 140 thousand vaccines arrived in Sinaloa, to continue with the Vaccination Day against COVID-19.

The delegate of Programs for the Well-being of Sinaloa, Arch. Omar López Campos, reported that there are 72 thousand doses of the Pfizer Pediatric biological, to apply a second dose to children under 5 to 11 years of age, and that more than 71 thousand vaccines from the CanSino biological, which will be applied as a booster to people over 18 years of age.

“We have just received Pfizer biologicals for our boys and girls from 5 to 11 years old, to continue this week with the activity of applying the second dose, we also received CanSino, to be more precise 71,490 biologicals, which will allow us to apply reinforcements for over 18 years old,” he said.

The Second Dose Vaccination Day for children between 5 and 11 years of age will begin on Tuesday, September 13, in the municipalities of Culiacán, Mazatlán, Ahome and Guasave; in the same Vaccination Centers that the population already knows.

The vaccine reception protocol was headed by Dr. Tania Clarissa Medina López, IMSS state delegate in Sinaloa and head of the Road Runner Brigade; Dr. Gerardo Alapizco Castro, General Secretary of the Autonomous University of Sinaloa; On behalf of the Secretary of Health of Sinaloa, Dr. Cuitláhuac González Galindo, Dr. Gerardo Kenny Inzunza Leyva, director of the Health Prevention and Promotion Directorate, and representatives of the Armed Forces in Sinaloa attended.
