After the news, the politician Manuel Clouthier made a publication on Twitter in which he criticized the list of guests at the dinner, since he regretted that the Government, nor invited businessmen could purge the list of the Sinaloa business delegation, since according to his words, the invitation was received by people of all kinds of mixtures.

On the other hand, it is presumed that the office of the private secretary of Governor Rubén Rocha Moya was in charge of selecting the business delegation from Sinaloa that went to the National Palace. During the dinner, at least 30 businessmen were invited, several of them from Sinaloa, who were supposedly previously selected by Higuera Osuna.
