Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- After overcoming the months considered the lowest in tourist activity in Mazatlán (May and June), the restaurant sector is preparing to serve the thousands of tourists who will arrive during the summer vacation season.

Rodrigo Becerra Rodríguez, president of the National Chamber of the Restaurant Industry and Seasoned Foods, estimated that as of this weekend the first shipment will be available and that as the days go by, they will reach 100 percent occupancy of diners, which It will generate an important spill for all.

“ We are happy because what is May and June have already passed, which are considered low season, and right now we must be above 80 percent, and we hope that soon after this weekend it will rise to 100 percent, because it is what that reports hotel occupancy, and it is something that we would expect when visiting restaurants, ”he said.

Becerra Rodríguez indicated that traditionally, after experiencing Holy Week in Mazatlan, the months like May and June used to be the least active, but this year the weekends have been well attended.
