The influx in the main tourist points of the port continues to be high during the beginning of June
Mazatlan, Sinaloa. – The high influx of tourism in Mazatlán continues to give something to talk about, because despite being the busiest on weekends, during the week there is also a large number of visitors who pass through the streets and main avenues of the port, generating by course good sales mainly for merchants, restaurateurs and hoteliers of the port.
“There have been quite a few people, since May and so far this month, weekends are always very full (…), obviously when it comes to tourists, those who benefit the most are those from the souvenirs and the area of food, sweets, all of that, but if they turn around and there are good sales,” assured Luis Felipe, a downtown merchant.
Places in the center such as Pino Suárez, Plazuela República, Plazuela Machado, and the surrounding beaches are among the most popular areas for tourists, and one of the areas that receive the greatest spillage from them after the hotel zone. .
For the remainder of the month of June, merchants and restaurateurs expect an increase in their sales that ranges from 20 to 40 percent, especially on weekends, since the tourism that Mazatlán will receive will not decrease this month, but which, on the contrary, can be maintained or increased a little, since the summer months are also vacations for many.
