To this day, the Sinaloa Ministry of Health counts 24 primary schools closed throughout the state due to the rise in infections among teachers and students.

The head of the SEPyC, Graciela Domínguez Nava, stated that during the past week 109 positive cases were detected by Covid-19 and so far this week there are already 84 children diagnosed with this disease, however, she regretted that this figure could reach higher levels.

The state official assured that to prevent the virus from spreading among the student community, they follow a strict protocol and in the case of some schools where the situation is a little more delicate, they have seen the need to close their doors.

Domínguez Nava, acknowledged that it is not pleasant to close schools due to this situation, however, the 24 institutions that closed have a prevention protocol established by the Ministry of Health, so in the coming days these measures to close due to minimum infections could change. .
