MAZATLAN. – The director of the Municipal Institute of Culture, Tourism and Art of Mazatlan, José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, reported that they are already preparing to celebrate the International LGBT+ Pride Day, and have met with different associations to hold a great Pride 2022 party.
He commented that last year a great party was held at the Ángela Peralta Theater, but with many restrictions due to the pandemic, but for 2022 they seek to have a party in the free area and create a stronger identity among all.
“We are looking to do something similar to the Theater this year, but the most important thing is the celebration and inclusion, something that the Mayor supports, we are talking to the different Associations about the theme of the parade, but later we will give more complete information”; said Tostado Quevedo.
The official pointed out that the support of sponsors is sought, and a recovery fee on the issue of whether artists are brought, recognized DJs, in addition, the theme of the parade is being checked so that it is with allegorical cars.
The main idea is that people join with the support of equality, and respect and incidentally recognize the talent of the gay community.
The parade is scheduled for June 18, which will have several surprises, in addition to the fact that more details will be announced in the coming days.
