Mazatlan Art Museum is looking for you, female artist wanted

The creative works will be exhibited from March 8, within the framework of International Women’s Day

MAZATLAN.- If you are a woman and you are a visual artist, the Mazatlan Art Museum launched the Re-Creations call, to show the talent of Sinaloans in different techniques, within the framework of International Women’s Day.  

The call highlights the resistance of women in art, in time, in the female perspective.  

Female artists and as protagonists of painting, function as a generational reconstruction of art based on a genealogy of Sinaloan women from the vision of professional women in these visual arts.  

Who can participate?  

Creators and artists without age limit, with experience, who can present at least two works per artist, with measurements that do not exceed 1.50×1.50 meters, ready to be exhibited and always attaching, on the back, the technical information sheet of works.

Just send an email to maga.artesvisuales@culturasinaloa.gob.mx, in that email, you will send the data of the card, which are, title, measurements, technique, quality photography in jpg format, name and CV of the author, as well as telephone and residence. Once you send it, the museum will respond to you within 48 hours.  

What works enter?  

Works of painting, drawings, engravings, photographs, collage, but remember, they have to be ready for mounting, in addition to being unpublished or previously exhibited. All, in their categories, will participate via Facebook for the most popular work and will be awarded.  

The opening of the reception will be from today until March 3, to move on to the inauguration on March 8. The works will be exhibited in the Gallery of Modern Art.
