The company announced the arrival of the Uber Moto service to Mazatlán and Culiacán, “with the aim of providing an additional mobility option that allows access to a reliable, efficient, and comfortable trip at the touch of a button.”
This Uber Moto service will allow you to request motorcycle trips with a driver-partner through the application. Through a statement, the company indicates that this type of service “will contribute to the economic development of Culiacán and Mazatlán, by offering a new opportunity for self-employment and entrepreneurship for its inhabitants.”

According to the Uber Mexico statement, now users of the platform will be able to access a trip that costs an average of 30 percent less than UberX.
“This solution will be available within the app menu and will complement the options already available in Culiacán and Mazatlán,” the company indicates.
“At Uber, we want to be an ally of Culiacán and Mazatlán and support them in the economic recovery. With the arrival of this new product, we seek to help thousands of Sinaloans by providing a tool to generate profits that benefit their families,” said Gretta González, general director of Uber ride-sharing in Mexico.
WHAT ABOUT SECURITY IF YOU USE UBER MOTO?
According to the company, all trips with Uber Moto will be covered by AXA Seguros, as well as access to specialized support 24/7 to attend to the reports generated from the app.
Uber Mexico indicates that the Uber Moto service also offers well-known security features such as the 911 call button, share my ride, and PIN code verification.
“In addition, hygiene measures are implemented, which include access to antibacterial gel, face masks and disposable caps for helmets, in case the user does not have their own and must use the one provided,” the company indicates.
The use of a helmet for the driver and for the passenger is mandatory on all trips.
