Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Belisario Domínguez street, in the section between Sixto Osuna and Miguel Alemán, in the Center, will remain closed to vehicular traffic until next Monday, this due to the work to reinforce the grids of the Roosevelt collector, reported Luis Gerardo Nunez Gutierrez.
The director of Public Works said that the maneuvers being carried out in the collector consist of reinforcing the beams with new material to settle the grills, and thus provide firmness in the structure when cars and trucks pass by.
“It is a job in which all the beams are being inserted, they were reinforced with six (inch) beams that were before and now we have inserted eight and the angle, we are doing almost everything new, which is where the grills were sitting,” he explained.
He mentioned that once the work is completed, they will continue with the inspection and maintenance of the rest of the city’s collectors, having as a priority in the coming days, the one located next to the Hotel Hacienda.
Núñez Gutiérrez commented that Belisario Domínguez is one of the busiest streets in the first square of the city, and although traffic drops during the weekend, he asked the citizens for patience and take their forecasts if they circulate in the area.
