To increase the competitiveness of Sinaloa as a tourist destination, SECTUR offers training

Mazatlán, Sinaloa._ In order for there to be a higher level of competitiveness in the tourist services offered in Sinaloa, the Ministry of Tourism has made its training programs available to those who require certified consultants.

The Director of Innovation and Quality, María Elena Arias Gámez, invited the municipalities to approach the Secretariat to request information to carry out such events.

He mentioned that constant coordination is maintained with the municipal governments of the south, center and north of the entity, as is the case of the municipality of Ahome, which has already announced that it will carry out a series of trainings.

He said that this is part of the recommendations made by Governor Rubén Rocha Moya, through the head of the

Sectur, María del Rosario Torres Noriega for supporting the tourism sector in the state.

He pointed out that the agency offers information, training, and accompaniment on training and professionalization issues to public service providers, in order to increase the competitiveness of the destination.

It also has training programs that are updated periodically, certifications with Federal Sectur methodologies, and these are coordinated through the management.

It also offers other topics such as the National Tourist Culture Contest, the National Tourism Registry, the Hotel Classification System and the Certification of Tourist Guides.
