The land that would be given as part of the payment to the Arhe group for the Nafta Lubricantes case, will be removed from the agreement, the secretary of the Mazatlán City Council announced

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Finally, the property located in the Antiguo Aeropuerto neighborhood, which would be given as part of the payment to the Arhe group for the Nafta Lubricantes case, will be removed from the agreement, secretary of the Mazatlán City Council announced, Edgar Augusto González Zatarain.

The local official added that yesterday he held a meeting with the settlers living in the settlement to whom he explained the process to exclude said land from the payment agreement and the conversation he held on the subject with the legal representatives of the Arhe group, who, in turn, they accepted the proposal to receive as part of the payment a property located on the outskirts of Cerritos.

“They left calm in the sense that this is not the property. We are in transit with the company to modify that part and the agreement with them was to cancel said payment agreement; once you make the addendum, you will be provided with a copy and the other one is taken out, “he said.

González Zatarain added that the representatives of the Arhe group accepted without any problem the property that was offered to them, so it will be a matter of looking at the issue of the amount, how much is its value.

“The appraisal is in process, I don’t want to get ahead of myself, but, since they bring the appraisal, for example; this is commercial value, this is the cadastral and we are looking for a middle ground, this is something that is done everywhere, “he said.

He said that, according to his estimate, the price for the Cerritos land would be enough to remove some monthly payments, that is, they would avoid making cash payments on the same debt, to stop losing liquidity.
