At this point, he said, Grupo OMA’s projection for Mazatlán is to recover between 4 or 5 percent annually, with a pre-Covid-19 objective, never expecting a fall as it was in 2020, which was approximately 764 thousand passengers, and that still, with those figures, it was the best destination to recover among the group’s airports.
“The airport is operating with pre-Covid levels, that is, with the highest season or year, in that sense, the OMA traffic projection, the traffic projection is that it will continue to recover 4 or 5 percent per year”, added.
Until the June cutoff, the Mazatlán International Airport closed with 503 thousand 482 passengers, above destinations such as Acapulco and Zihuatanejo, both in Guerrero, with 303 thousand 431 and 190 thousand 625 passengers, respectively.
