For the weekend, occupancy of 60% is estimated in the hotels on Avenida Del Mar

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Mazatlán hotels continue with a high demand for the weekends since from this Thursday occupancy began to rebound and it is estimated that they will reach levels of 60%.

Dozens of charter buses could be seen getting tourists off at the different hotels on Avenida del Mar and the Golden Zone.

The president of the Tres Islas Hotels Association, José Ramón Manguart Sánchez, stressed that regional tourism remains faithful to the destination, and proof of this is that, from now until the end of the year, the accommodation establishments will have 60% occupancy at the end of the week.

“We are happy, because this inertia has continued despite the return to classes in a hybrid format, different conditions than last year, where classes were online, but still on weekends, from here to the rest of the year, we are going to have occupations of at least 60%, “he said.

Manguart Sánchez commented that most of the tourists who arrive at the destination are from Chihuahua, Nuevo León, Coahuila, Durango, Sinaloa, Nayarit and Jalisco.

“The air issue has been complicated, even when Mazatlan has the recovery of flights and to the extent that we can sustain the green traffic light, that will gain confidence so that people are encouraged to travel on the plane,” he concluded.
