MAZATLÁN.- Actioning off the plots of the Playa Espíritu Integrally Planned Center (CIP) is synonymous with setback and that southern Sinaloa is seriously affected by the lack of projects that seek to develop and reactivate the area; This was expressed by representatives of the group Unidos por el CID.

Tobías Lozano Solórzano explained that the project can make people in the southern part of the state leave their dependence on agriculture and fishing, jobs that are temporary, and considered that if President Andrés Manuel López Obrador insists on the raffle a plan b it would be to continue promoting that region.

“If the CIP is going to be Actioned we cannot do anything against it, what we now have to do is promote the entire region, we are talking from El Novillero, in Tecuala, to Isla de la Piedra, in Mazatlán”,

In the same vein, Aarón Flores Estrada, former president of the municipality of El Rosario in the 1999-2001 triennium, along with José Manuel García Mendoza, former deputy of the 63rd legislature of the Sinaloa Congress, argued that Playa Espíritu can become a reality if the government of President AMLO, the government of Rubén Rocha Moya, legislators, municipal presidents, and businessmen come together for the general good, as the project will include jobs, social welfare and a better future for tourism.

“Our intention is to get closer to Rocha Moya, Playa Espíritu cannot be sold because it is an opportunity to increase expectations of promoting mountain tourism, beautiful towns, sustainable tourism with direct benefit to the corresponding ethnic groups in the north of Nayarit, south of Sinaloa and Durango ”, explained Flores Estrada.

The Playa Espíritu project has 12 kilometers of beach and is located in the municipality of Escuinapa, Sinaloa; includes 2,381 hectares of land, its current value is higher than its original cost of 120 million dollars.

The auction that the federal government is promoting includes the 200 properties including a beach house with a value of 28 million pesos, plus three cash prizes of 5 million pesos each. Tickets are already on sale and are priced at 250 pesos.
