Mazatlán’s CICMA presents the exhibition ‘Flores de Muertos’

The work will be available from Saturday October 30 until January of next year

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Next Friday the plastic exhibition ‘Flores de Muertos’ by the Mazatlan artist, Rodrigo Martínez Soto, will be inaugurated at the Center for Cultural Innovation in Mazatlán.

The pictorial sample consists of nine portraits that are part of the Vive Marcela collection, as well as a mural with a dedication for the Mazatlán Cultural Innovation Center.

At a press conference Mariana Mercado, deputy director of the venue, said she was very happy about the opening of the plastic exhibition, which will be available from October 30, until January 2022.

For his part, Martínez Soto commented that the exhibition uses an incredible palette of colors and various artistic techniques that show a young skeleton who invites us to enjoy the riches of life and not only to live in the hope of being rewarded in the next life.

The artist added that the entrance to the place will have a recovery cost of only 50 pesos and in the case of minors, they do not pay a ticket, reservations are not needed and they will have to take the guidelines to Covid-19, as indicated by the health authorities.

He commented that the days and hours of attention to the public will be from Wednesday to Sunday at 12:00 hours and 18:00 hours.

He invited the general public not to miss this exhibition since the works of art mix a bit the general culture with the ingenuity of the artist.
