Canadian airline Swoop restarts operations to Mazatlan

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Mazatlán will increase air connectivity with Canada for this winter season; This Saturday, the Edmonton-Mazatlan flight of the Swoop airline begins operation.

After several months of suspension of flights from Canada to Mexico due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it restarts operations on a weekly basis.

According to information from the Ministry of Tourism, the inaugural flight of the Canadian low-cost airline will arrive at Mazatlán International Airport at 12:15 this Saturday.

On October 2, connectivity with Canada restarted, with the Westjet Calgary-Mazatlán airline flight, and now another airline with another destination is added and they expect more to join as the winter season progresses.

According to state and municipal authorities, there are good expectations for the high season for the arrival of foreign tourists, which begins this month of October and ends in April 2022.
