Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Compared with previous weeks, last Sunday, June 11, there was an increase in bathers on the beaches of Mazatlán, according to the municipal coordinator of Civil Protection, Eloy Ruiz Gastélum.
With a total of 4,104 people, the beaches of the pearl of the Pacific registered an “atypical” number of bathers, this compared to the capacity in previous weeks, however, he specified that surveillance tours were carried out, in addition to implementing the use of drones with speakers.
“Atypically the number of bathers that we registered throughout the week compared to previous weeks were 4,104 people, only last Sunday, that is, yesterday and the behavior that was manifesting itself in previous weeks, which was Thursday, Friday and Saturday –we had a greater number of attendees at the beach- (…) We had a greater number of visitors, ”Ruiz Gastélum reported.
“The overflights with drones continue to issue the corresponding health messages following the established schedule that is from Thursday from 6 pm to 10 pm, from Thursday to Sunday,” he added.

“This past Saturday and Sunday, specifically speaking of the review that was carried out in all nightclubs and restaurant bars, I can tell you that there were seven calls for attention, seven administrative acts that were raised due to different circumstances,” he argued.
“There was no exceeding of capacity, it is something that we have to emphasize, business, in general, was below 60 percent approximately, we can attribute to this that perhaps people between 40 and 49 years old were vaccinated during that week or perhaps young people from 30 to 39 ”, he concluded.
