Mazatlán, Sinaloa (July 3, 2021).- Upon resuming the review operations to nightclubs, bars, and restaurants, municipality personnel raised 4 administrative records to the same number of establishments during Friday night and early Saturday morning, due to non-compliance with the protocols established for their operation.

Eloy Ruiz Gastélum, the Municipal Coordinator of Civil Protection, led the night operation in which personnel from the Mayor’s Office, Sub-Directorate of Commerce, Public Safety, Ecology, and Municipal Transit participated.

The actions were carried out in establishments located in Olas Altas, Zona Dorada, La Marina, as well as on Carlos Canseco and Camarón Sábalo avenues.

“Some businesses were sanctioned for having a greater number of people at tables. Others were also sanctioned because they are not updating the number of people who are entering using the “nightlife traffic light”. It is important to note that efforts will continue to be added as the summer vacation season 2021 approaches ”, the Civil Protection Coordinator pointed out.

Ruiz Gastélum mentioned that these types of reviews will continue to be carried out, with a firm hand, so that the employer commits himself and that all people who go out to have fun can have the certainty that these places are in full compliance with the mandatory health protocols.
