Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- The return to classes is practically around the corner because according to the National Vaccination plan, the next to receive the dose will be the teachers and they already have a date.

As the Governor of Sinaloa, Quirino Ordaz Coppel would have already mentioned, through a radio interview, the State would be receiving 80 thousand doses of antigen against Covid-19 that would be immunizing teachers during the month of March, a date confirmed by the Undersecretary of Health, Hugo López-Gatell.

Likewise, López-Gatell confirmed that as of April 20, the vaccination period for teachers will begin throughout the country, including the State of Sinaloa, which will immunize their teachers from May 12 to 18.

After it was confirmed that the return to face-to-face classes would be before the end of the current school year, it was announced that the vaccine to be administered would be that of Cansino, which requires a single dose that will enable the return to classrooms between May 13 and 15 in the first block of teachers.

In the case of Sinaloa, the return to school could take place in mid-June, since it is among the last state blocks to receive the antigen. 

It should be noted that this return to classes will not be mandatory and the parent will be asked to sign a responsive letter.
