Tonight the death of “Captain” was confirmed, this good dog who won the heart of the people of Culiacan
Culiacán, Sinaloa.- Tonight dozens of Culiacanenses who knew Captain, the dog considered the mascot of the Culiacán Centro, received the terrible news that he had died.
Brenda González, president of the Huellita con Causa Foundation, went to a parking lot located on Zaragoza Street, after receiving the news that there was a mongrel dog very similar to the Captain, who had already been dead for a few hours.
The reactions on Huellitas’ page were immediate and dozens of people hoped that it was not the Captain. Upon arriving and seeing the characteristics of the dead dog, there was no doubt Captain for unknown causes had lost his life of him.
“We will love you forever, captain, you will live forever in the marathons, in the downtown dances, in the Barbudo Bar, in the Cathedral, in the City Hall fountain, in the Rosales Square, waiting for a taco, in the El Moreno Tacos, resting in Banorte, taking a nap in Calzzapato and forever in our hearts, your essence remains and your teaching invites us to reconsider our relationship with animals. See you soon “CAPTAIN”, wrote Brenda in memory of this noble animal that won the affection of dozens of people.
Just saying Captain was enough for the noble dog to approach the person who was calling him. Many dog-loving people fed him and gave him water, since he did not like to be inside a house, he was born to be free and in that freedom, El Capitan died. It is a mascot that left its mark on the hearts of many people from Culiacan.
After the news of El Capitan death, dozens of people on social networks have asked that the memory of “Captain” be commemorated with a statue, which they indicate should be placed next to the letters of Culiacán in the Plazuela Álvaro Obregón.
