Chiapas, the state of the Spirit of the Mayan World, will show a wide cultural, artisan and gastronomic range, along with innumerable natural beauties in its biodiversity of ecosystems, fauna, flora, and history, this month at Punto México, a space for promotion and dissemination of the Ministry of Tourism in Mexico City.
In a virtual press conference, in which the presence of Chiapas in Punto México was announced, Katyna de la Vega Grajales, Secretary of Tourism of that state, said that Mexico City is the main generator of tourism for the entity.
The state official pointed out that this will be an important opportunity to show the new tourism products that are offered and complementing the extensive programs and activities established, such as routes and circuits, which will make the visitor have an unforgettable experience.
Throughout this month, in Punto México there will be artisan exhibitions and tourist information in general, as well as more than 150 products of pottery, textiles, wood, clay, among other materials, made by some 130 families from different regions of the state.
Punto México is located on the ground floor of the central building of the Ministry of Tourism, in Presidente Masaryk and Hegel, in Colonia Polanco in Mexico City. Open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Sundays, every day of the year.
