Police carry out an operation in the Jardines Alcalde neighborhood
A total of 141 vehicles were secured in Guadalajara during an operation to inhibit illegal racing, the Jalisco Security Secretariat reported.
The 104 motorcycles and 37 insured automobiles were sent to vehicle warehouses.
The authorities detailed that operational personnel from the Secretariat’s Road Police Station intercepted several drivers who were allegedly participating in prohibited races on Circunvalación avenue, between Sebastián Allende and Esteban Baca Calderón, in the Jardines Alcalde neighborhood of Guadalajara
The agents prepared 110 fines for different reasons.
The State Security Secretariat recalled that it carries out constant operations in different parts of the metropolis to inhibit these races, with the aim of preventing situations that put people’s lives and their assets at risk.
