“There´s just too much noise in the downtown area” they say.
A group of Mazatlecos demonstrated this Saturday, November 21st, in the Historic Center to ask the authorities to stop the excessive noise of public transport.
Mazatlán.- A group of approximately 15 people demonstrated last night in the streets of the historic center of Mazatlán to ask the authority to stop the excessive noise generated by public transportation units when they walk the streets of that sector.
With banners in hand, they expressed their disgust with the situation they experience every night, as the sound of the vehicles does not let them sleep at night.
“Please, turn down your noise Mazatlán,” said the message that was written on the cards they held with their hands during the protest they organized on Constitución Street.
Locals took up positions on the sidewalk and demonstrated to raise awareness among the drivers of charioteers and pulmonias, who at that time circulated with passengers, but with the sound at low volume.
