Sinaloa returned to the yellow traffic light this week, presenting a stabilizing trend in the number of infections; there are three critical entities in the country

Sinaloa remains one of the states with the greatest trajectory in reducing both confirmed cases of COVID-19 and deaths from the disease, highlighted this Tuesday by the Undersecretary of Prevention for Health Promotion, Hugo López-Gatell.

“In the case of Sinaloa, one of the states that have continuously decreased since week 22, the same as the State of Mexico, and in deaths a more accelerated reduction as well as hospitalization,” said the official, in the Pulse of Health presented in the morning by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

Let us remember that Sinaloa returned to the yellow epidemiological traffic light, after having gone back to orange.

The yellow traffic light came into force this Monday, September 16, and is until the 22nd, when presenting a stabilizing trend in the number of infections.

Critical states

López-Gatell stressed that there are three states in the country that continue their upward trend of infections, in which greater attention and care must be paid to control the epidemic.

“Today we highlight Zacatecas, and Querétaro along with Durango, which are still increasing, as the three states where it is necessary to pay more attention, more care. But the national summary is this trend where mortality has been reduced despite the fact that in some states the cases increase, and in the vast majority of cases the cases are decreasing in the states, in the country as a whole, and in the vast majority they are being reduced ”, affirmed the undersecretary of Health.
