Queretaro governor expressed his total commitment to the tourism sector in the “Bajío” region

Before the members of the Central West Pact for Tourism, Queretaro governor, Francisco Domínguez Servién asserted that the health care of the population and tourists should be the priority in the reactivation of the tourism sector during the Covid-19 pandemic.

It was this Tuesday, October 27th, when the governor met in Hacienda Viborillas, municipality of Colón, with the holders of Tourism from Aguascalientes, Guanajuato, Jalisco, San Luis Potosí, Zacatecas and Querétaro; there he expressed his total support to promote tourism in the region.

Domínguez Servién recalled that in August the state obtained the “Safe Travel” Seal granted by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), which pays to regain the confidence of the international traveler when visiting the destination.

It should be noted that as part of the Central West Pact for Tourism, Querétaro actively participates in a coordinated effort to promote interstate highway tourism.

The meeting was attended by the Secretaries of Tourism of Aguascalientes, Humberto Javier Montero de Alba; from Guanajuato, Juan José Álvarez Brunel; from Jalisco, Germán Ernesto Kotsiras Ralis Cumplido; from San Luis Potosí, Arturo Esper Sulaimán; from Zacatecas, Eduardo Yarto Aponte, and the host, Hugo Burgos García.
