Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- After nine and a half months, the Teodoro Mariscal stadium reopened its doors to the public , despite the pandemic, hundreds of fans gathered to see the king of sports again , an atypical season, where only 40% of the capacity was allowed.
The health protocols at the entrance of the stadium were the order of the day, face masks, and jerseys of the local team could be seen parading around the stadium. Once inside the protocols were activated, the security check and the temperature taking, in addition to the ticket in hand, which was the requirement to enter the stadium.

Inside the building, fans observed a change in the seats and in the corridors of the mythical Teodoro Mariscal, as some of them had yellow tape to block the access and give way to the healthy distance.
Already with all the fans sitting in their respective places. The footlights of the stadium faded and gave way to the fireworks party and the video of the 2020-2021 season, recalling those feats that the home team did in the 2005 season when they won the Mexican League championship of the Pacifico and the Caribbean Series, thus to give the words of welcome from Guillermo Osuna Hi, in addition to honoring José Manuel “Pata” Castelló, who left this world.

At the end, the players from Mayos de Navojoa, the visiting team and Venados de Mazatlán, were presented one by one, before the fans that were eager for baseball. Thus, the first ball was thrown and the cry of “playball” was sung, to start another baseball season and start the road to Mazatlán 2020.
